"I took more than one class with Mr. Joel his teaching methods were great... He gave the students the chance to ask their questions if they had any, and he will try his best to give us the right answer even if it was not related to the subject of the class... Overall, he is a great teacher, as an ESL student, Mr. Joel helped me in the Academics, and in understanding some of the US culture."
“Joel is one of the best English teachers I’ve had. He taught me a lot not only with my English skills but also about English culture, such as American holidays, sports and food culture. He also taught many idioms that might helped me in my routine in America, answered to all questions very patiently and always finding the best way to explain one subject clearly to every student in class.”
“Joel is a great English language instructor to me. I can already speak fluent English but Joel managed to help me to improve pronunciation, to speak in a more local American way as well. The learning with him also gives me better understanding of American history and culture, thanks to the reading materials Joel find out for me. Moreover, after the training session I know what to do for further improvement in English skills.”

- Receive two emails each week about commonly used phrases and expressions in English.
- Improve your basic vocabulary with phrases such as “It’s hot outside.”
- Feel comfortable using more complex expressions like “Don’t beat around the bush” in every day conversation. (By the way, “Don’t beat around the bush” means to tell someone the information directly and to stop wasting time.)
For each phrase, you will receive an explanation and an example of how to use it in conversation. Here is an example:
"Might as well/ May as well"
- This phrase is used when we are trying to make a decision but there are other things to consider. However, in the end, the decision is not very affected by those factors.
Example 1: A: It's raining outside, but I want to go for a run.
B: You might/may as well. It's not raining hard.
Example 2: A: You might as well buy two bottles of water. If you don't drink both, I'll have the other one.
